Healthcare Consultant, Researcher & Entrepreneur
My journey began in the Midwest and has taken me around the world. I earned my Master of Science in Global Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Duke University. For over a decade, I was a mentor, researcher, educator, and leader at Duke University in the Division of Global Neurosurgery and Neurology. The next phase in my journey continues my passions for improving health and educational access through consulting, research, and entrepreneurship.
Neurosurgery, Neurology, Education & Advocacy Research
My primary research focus is improving access to and quality of neurosurgery and neurology care worldwide. It is my belief that geographic location or zip code should not impact a person’s access to high-quality health care.
Fuller Health Solutions
A common thread throughout my research years has been the lack of entrepreneurship within the global health space and the need for solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced in the sector. This led me to establish a global health consulting and technology development firm to tackle healthcare access and quality inequities.
YOJO
(Your Journey)
YOJO is a mission-driven education technology platform I co-founded to help students discover and access high-impact pathway programs that support academic, professional, and personal growth. The platform brings together learners and program leaders in one place, making it easier for organizations to manage applications, cohorts, and engagement while lowering barriers to opportunity for students. My work on YOJO sits at the intersection of education, equity, and systems-building, focused on creating infrastructure that helps people move from potential to possibility.
